大家参与手机回收原因竟然是?!以下是一些回收旧手机的原因 Here’s the list of the reasons for recycling old mobile phones: ■ 你关心我们的星球You care about our planet ■ 减少浪费,从而减少污染Reduces the amount of waste which leads to less pollution ■ 从手机中安全地清除有毒物质Toxic substances are safely removed from phone ■ 手机材料可以重复使用Materials from your phone can be reused again ■ 在经济上是合理的Is economically sensible ■ 用回收材料制作手机可以节省电能Making phones from recycled materials saves up electrical energy ■ 不需要开采更多的原材料There’s no need for material mining ■ 回收你的手机时可以赚一些现金You can earn some cash when you recycle your phone ■ 减少健康问题Reduces health issues 我将着重分析几个主要原因: 1、环境影响 ● 手机含有一些有害物质,会对我们人类和环境造成很大的损害 ● 焚烧或最终被填埋 ■ 燃烧:释放有毒元素到空气中 ■ 填埋:土壤吸收这些有毒元素,使其本身无效和有毒 ● 2019年是电子垃圾创纪录的一年,创下了5360万吨垃圾的历史新高。包括手机在内的小型电子产品占了近500万吨。 ● 2014年的一项研究发现,不适当的回收在印度德里的两个地区造成了污染。其中一个水样中的高汞含量让研究人员特别担心,使他们质疑这种水是否可以安全饮用。土壤也受到金属的负面影响,改变了土壤的特征。 2、健康影响 ● 人类吸入那些有毒物质 ● 电子垃圾危害环境,在露天燃烧时可能导致心血管和肺部疾病。 3、资源浪费(可持续性发展) ● 减少浪费,因为它们是由玻璃、塑料和金属制成的,包括金和铂 ●不需要挖矿 ■ 据BBC Future报道,“100万部手机可以运送近16吨铜、350公斤银、34公斤金和15公斤钯。”他们还表示,“据估计,一部典型的iPhone大约含有0.034克黄金、0.34克白银、0.015克钯和不到千分之一克铂。”它还含有价值较低但仍很重要的铝(25克)和铜(约15克)。”这也许就是为什么耐用的iPhone备受推崇的原因。 ● 节省稀有材料,如钕和铈 ● 铜、铝、铁、钯、银、金、钽、钴、锡、镓、铟和一些稀有原料元素 1、Environment impact ●Phones contain some hazardous substances and can cause a lot of damage both to us humans and the environment ● Burned or ends up in a landfill ■ Burning: release toxic elements into the air ■ Landfill: soil absorbs those toxic elements and makes itself futile and poisonous ● 2019 was a record year for e-waste, setting an all-time high of 53.6 million metric tons of trash. Small electronics, including cell phones, accounted for nearly 5 million metric tons of that total. ● A 2014 study found that improper recycling caused contamination in two regions in Dehli, India. The high mercury level in one of the samples of water particularly concerned researchers, making them question if the water was safe to drink. The soil was also negatively affected by metals that changed the soil's characteristics. ![]() 2、Health effects ● Human breathe in those toxic substances ● E-waste harms the environment and can cause cardiovascular and pulmonary disease when it's burned in the open air. 3、Resource recycling(Sustainable development) ● Lower the amount of waste because they are made of glass, plastic, and metals, including gold and platinum ● no need for material mining ● According to the BBC Future, “one million mobile phones could deliver nearly 16 tonnes of copper, 350kg of silver, 34kg of gold and 15kg of palladium.” They also state that “a typical iPhone is estimated to house around 0.034g of gold, 0.34g of silver, 0.015g of palladium and less than one-thousandth of a gram of platinum. It also contains the less valuable but still significant aluminium (25g) and copper (around 15g).” This may be the reason why having a durable iPhone is prestigious. ● Save rare materials, such as neodymium and cerium ● Copper, aluminium, iron, palladium, silver, gold, tantalum, cobalt, tin, gallium, indium, and some rare raw elements ![]() 参考文献Bibliography: - Everphone.
